“… Julie had a natural desire and healthy curiosity for how to best provide care to her patients.”

A Kalamazoo native, Julie learned the value of hard work and dedication from an early age. The countless family (even her older brother), friends, and animals she cared for are indicative of Julie’s natural caretaker abilities.

A graduate of the Bronson School of Nursing, Julie had a natural desire and healthy curiosity for how to best provide care to her patients. Her budding career began as a critical care nurse. She later worked in Hospice and home health agencies, leading to becoming the Director of Clinical Services at a free health clinic where she coordinated over 300 volunteers.

While attending a funeral, Julie met her husband, Scott Betzler; the pair hit if off quite naturally. Scott became her greatest source of encouragement as she navigated her evolving career. As a mother of two children (Cooper and Camryn), maintaining work-life balance is a priority.

Julie took a new direction in 2004, working as a medical trainer with auto insurance claims professionals. With a passion to work more directly with patients and other health care professionals, and her knowledge in auto no-fault insurance, Julie was able to combine all of her strengths by becoming a Nurse Case Manager. She continued her knowledge in the workers’ compensation and private care industries. Transforming lives became her calling.
